Every guest gets a complimentary Rhum Arrangé after dinner. It’s become something of a tradition.
The Restaurant
Three meals.

At Sakatia Lodge, you can stay on a room-only, bed and breakfast or half-board basis. We do not offer full board, but our snack menu is available at lunchtime in the bar area.
Our chefs prepare meals inspired by Madagascar’s rich mix of culinary influences, including South East Asian, French, African and Creole traditions. Breakfast is served as a small buffet with fresh local fruit and eggs prepared to your preference, while lunch offers a selection of snacks and lighter dishes. Dinner is a three-course set menu, with a different menu prepared by our chefs each day.
We also cater for dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets. Please let us know in advance so our kitchen can plan accordingly.
A complimentary Rhum Arrangé is offered after dinner.

- Dinner: 19:00 – 20:30
Breakfast
Our breakfast buffet includes cereals, yoghurt, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bread, breakfast cake, fresh local fruit and eggs prepared to preference.
Lunch
Our snack menu includes croque monsieur, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, salads and gateau royal.
Dinner
Dinner is a three-course set menu, with a different menu prepared by our chefs each day.
Dietary requirements
From vegetarian and vegan to gluten-free, our kitchen is happy to accommodate dietary requirements. Just let us know when you enquire.
Children
Babies eat free. Children up to 12 years have a discounted meal price.
The Bar
A bar with the
best view
The Sakatia Lodge bar is open throughout the day. Perched above the beach with an uninterrupted view of the ocean, it’s the natural gathering point for sundowners, afternoon drinks and evening conversation. It’s also the perfect place to slow down and watch the changing tides, with the sea constantly reshaping the view throughout the day.
Our bar offers soft drinks, beer, wine and a range of cocktails, including our signature mojito and caipirinha, both also available in alcohol-free versions.
Private dining
Dinner on the beach
For special occasions, an anniversary, a birthday, a romantic evening, we can arrange a private dinner on the beach for up to four guests. A table on the sand, lanterns, the sound of the ocean and the stars above. Available on request, subject to weather.
